Are Wiseco pistons forged?
Yes. Wiseco pistons are forged from aircraft grade aluminum, not cast. Forged pistons hold up better under heat and high rpm, which is why they are a common choice for rebuilds, race engines and big bore builds.
What comes in a Wiseco piston kit?
A standard kit includes the piston, ring set, wrist pin and circlips. Kits listed as "with gaskets" add a top end gasket set, so you have most of what you need for a top end refresh in one box.
How do I find the right Wiseco piston for my bike?
